Known for her passion and commitment, Sheromie has built strong, lasting relationships with corporate volunteers and community partners, many of whom return year after year to support her programmes. Her team celebration events have become known for combining fun, food and heartfelt recognition of each young person’s journey.
She has taken the Team Programme overseas, introducing Cage Cricket to young people in Barbados, and continues to promote the King’s Trust mission wherever she goes. Even after two decades in the role, she regularly takes part in training sessions and is always willing to share advice and best practice with colleagues.
Speaking after receiving the award, Sheromie said:
“I’m honoured to receive this award. It reflects not just my work, but the incredible dedication of our volunteers, staff and most of all, the young people who inspire me every day. I’m proud to be part of a programme that truly changes lives.”
Everyone at London South East Colleges is incredibly proud of Sheromie’s achievement and grateful for her continued dedication and enthusiasm.
